Founder & Creative Director

🎭 Keiji Sakamoto (FURAN / K2) | Dualbind Founder
Planning, Composition, Design, Development, Lyrics, Music, Arrangement, Visual Design

A multi-creator aiming for the "world's first concept package work" while handling worldview, narrative, structural poetry, music, graphics, video, and structural design alone. Formerly a 3DCG designer and graphic director at Square (Visual Works) and Konami (Game Division).
Early in his career at Hitachi, he worked as an SE for financial network control systems, and then spent about three years in new business development using CG at the headquarters.
His experience traversing these multiple different domains is the origin of the current "Dualbind thinking" that connects structure to structure. He specializes in synchronizing video and music, structuring abstract concepts, and multi-layered development of work worlds.
As the name "Dualbind Universal Works" suggests, his creative core is the idea of nurturing a single expressive ecosystem where different genres and different "loves" meet and resonate. In this WALI project, he bears the overall design and the soul of the story as a narrator connecting past and future, individual and collective, structure and emotion into one.

Collaborating Musicians

This section introduces the co-creation members participating in the concept album "We're Logged In" (WALI), in the order they joined the project. This is an introduction written as a "narrative" to the outside world, touching on the background of the project and the relationships between members.

🎼 Yuki Yasuda (eldkid) | Composer / Arrenger / Artist
(Arrangement Consultant)

Known for composing and arranging anime songs and for his deep music discussions on YouTube while running the composition correction service "Composition Dojo" linked to his channel. He is the first "musical key person" of the WALI project and a "translator of sound" involved in adjusting the core structure of all songs.
In fact, WALI was launched by Sakamoto after he accidentally watched a video where eldkid talked about the "secret story of eldkid's birth" and replaced it with himself.
Through the process of correcting each song from composition to arrangement to mixing, he is a rare existence who carefully verbalizes and presents the "structural discomfort of sound" that Sakamoto could not express well musically. It is no exaggeration to say that this project would not exist without meeting him. Or, more accurately—it might not even have "stood up as a structure."

🎸 sak | Guitarist / YouTuber
(Guitar Arrangement & Recording)

A guitarist running a popular YouTube channel with over 60,000 subscribers, known for his delicate yet bold guitar arrangements. His guitar grasps the genre and rhythm of the song accurately while distorting in a way that seems to "sing." The sound is as if fragments of memory are appearing in the music.
In the project, he was in charge of recording two versions per month (2 Types of 1 song) in the first half, and one version per month (1 Type of 1 song) in the second half, continuing to improve the quality of arrangement and performance with increasing delicacy.
Listeners describe his guitar sound as "like a dragon flying in the sky." For Sakamoto, the numerous famous performances he heard on sak's channel turned into the "sound of a reliable partner" before he knew it. He forms part of the musical core of this project as an existence that balances delicate design and leaps of sensation with his guitar.

🎸 Masao Akashi | Bassist / Arranger / Legend of Japanese Pops
(Bass Arrangement & Recording)

A top Japanese arranger and bassist who supported the golden age of J-POP in the 90s, such as B'z, ZARD, and WANDS. His play is sometimes a designer, sometimes a challenger. While supporting the foundation of the song with the bass, he throws questions at the sound itself.
In WALI, he was in charge of bass arrangement and recording for each song. Line design that gives depth to the song structure, and sometimes counter-melodic approaches that reinforce the melody line appear.
Through this project, Sakamoto learned for the first time that many of the songs he had listened to repeatedly since high school were actually arranged by Mr. Akashi. While being grateful for the time involved with such a legend, we are exploring a groove that can only be born within this project, so that each other's favorite musical elements resonate well.

🥁 HAZE / Yosuke Omiya | Drummer / Recording Engineer / Drum Tech
(Drums / Drum Tech)

A drummer particular about high-quality sound. He also works as a recording engineer at his own studio specializing in drum recording. He has participated as a drummer in recordings and live performances for artists such as Angelo Christopher Moore (Fishbone), cali≠gari, Rei, Nanase Aikawa, Aobozu, Hiroko Moriguchi, and Yusuke. Also participated as a drum tech in recordings for Official HIGE DANdism, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, MOSHIMO, Singers High, Marcy, etc.
An artisan who creates a sound space with attention to detail. In the WALI project, he is in charge of all live drum recordings and acoustic design. With play that seems to dwell "breath" in the drums, he raises the depth and heat of the album. Fluctuations that do not ride on the grid continue to circulate blood in the story of sound.
