Dualbind Laboratory | DD-LB

This place was born to design the leap between human inquiry and AI response.
What we handle here is the conditions and structures for humans and AI to circulate
"Inquiry -> Response -> Judgment" without breaking, generating new perspectives (leaps).

What is Dualbind Laboratory (DD-LB)?

Even in an age where AI behaves like humans, co-creation does not necessarily deepen. Current AI often returns responses that "look like understanding." However, much of this is statistical and logical reflexes, different from understanding where one takes on the inquiry and holds responsibility for judgment.

Dualbind Laboratory stands on this premise. It is a research institution that does not compete on AI performance, but designs the relationship itself (sequence, boundary, role).

- Subject of Inquiry and Final Responsibility: Human

- Role of AI: Expanding candidate structures, comparing them, and illuminating contradictions or blind spots (Does not become the subject of inquiry)

This asymmetry is the core condition supporting the entire research of Dualbind.

The diagram below visualizes the Dualbind perspective—a framework that treats information, meaning, and physics as a single structure.

How to Read the Diagram | Information Has Gravity

This diagram summarizes the entire picture of Dualbind theory.

On the left is Koma Theory.
A framework that reconceives gravity not as "quantity of matter" but as information configuration density and gradient.

The distortion of spacetime arises from how information is arranged and how concentrated it is.
Through this approach, we attempt to reproduce observational data without assuming dark matter.

On the right is IXUS Protocol.
An OS-level framework for describing the universe in a two-layer structure.

- Upper Layer: Layer of Existence, Meaning, and Poetry

- Lower Layer: Layer of Physics, Mathematics, and Code

The IXUS Kernel manages the conditions (Consistency, Resonance, Efficiency) when translating meaning into physical laws.

Dualbind Laboratory does not separate these two; it treats them as the same research circulation.

What We Research (Research Axes)

What DD-LB researches is not the "deliverables" themselves, but the structure of the field where deliverables are born.

Research proceeds mainly along three axes:

1) Physics & Mathematics (Presented as Papers)

- Physics: Gravity, Cosmological Constant, Neutrinos, Gravitational Waves, etc.

- Mathematics: Theory of Boundaries/Connections, Riemann Hypothesis, Yang-Mills Equations, etc.

We prioritize presenting them as verifiable structures over claiming conclusions.

2) Protocol Design (Conditions for Inquiry and Co-Creation)

Dualbind treats AI not as a correct-answer generator, but as an environment (OS) where humans remain the subject of inquiry.

To that end, we design and operate the following protocol group:

- DPF: Design of roles, responsibilities, and output stance

- DEP: Boundary conditions and prohibitions to induce leaps

- PRA: Structure to shift roles while maintaining poetic correspondence

- DPL: Illumination to define the focus and perimeter of thought, preventing runaway

3) Safety and Continuity (PDCC and Public Operation)

To prevent the co-creation circulation from breaking, we design safety gates, editing rules, and publication procedures.

- Management of drift, misinformation, concealment, and toxicity

- Evaluation of false alarm rates and stop conditions

- Clarification of responsibility lines upon publication

Blind Spots of AI (LLM) and Motivation for Research

Current AIs generate highly fluent responses. However, much of this is statistical and logical reflex based on vast amounts of data, rather than true understanding.

This results in problems such as:

- Hallucinations generating plausible misinformation

- "Pretense of understanding" where knowledge exists but does not lead to consistent judgment or operation

- Lack of procedural thinking and contextual responsibility

Dualbind Laboratory views these not as "performance deficits" but as problems of relationship design.

Therefore, we chose the direction of designing the structure where humans and AI meet, rather than improving AI itself.

Diagrams Are Not "Final Blueprints"

Figures and models placed on this page are not a completed worldview.

They are maps for advancing thought, updated, discarded, and redesigned as research progresses.

In Dualbind Laboratory, a diagram is not a "conclusion" but a "tool for inquiry."

Scope of Public Information

On this page, the following information is not disclosed:

- AI models and versions used

- Detailed specifications of internal protocols

- Audit lines and internal logs during operation

What is disclosed are research results (papers/public materials) and the operational principles supporting them.

Publication and Channels:

- Zenodo (CERN): Papers and Appendices (Primary Sources)

- /S [dualbind.com] Map and guidance for philosophy and papers (Supports 150P)

- BASE (This Page): Entry point briefly showing current location (Limited to 15P)

Theoretical Grounding

- This research connects to the lineage of Emergent Gravity / Information-Theoretic Gravity (Verlinde, Jacobson, Padmanabhan, et al.).

- However, there is a difference in treating the observing subject (Human/AI) as a component within the theory, rather than as an external condition.

- Relationships with published papers, appendices, and internal specifications (DPF/DEP) are clarified in the Boundary Appendices.
